INFRASTRUCTURE AND SANITATION

We are fully committed to improve the quality infrastructure such as roads, drinking water, irrigation system, sanitation, etc and thereby improving the living standards of people through a series of focused interventions in certain regions.

Chambal has initiated construction of individual household toilets in the village surrounding the factory. We have inked an MoU with Zila Parishad, Kota for building sustainable toilets under Public Private-Community-Partnership (PPCP) model. Chambal is also conducting IEC activities in Sultanpur block covering 35 Gram Panchayats of 150 villages to motivate and sensitize people for the construction of IHHL. The IEC campaign was launched on 2nd October 2015 resulting into the construction of 2500 new toilets till date.

Chambal also signed an MoU with Government of Rajasthan for the construction of girls’ toilets in all secondary schools of Sultanpur block in Kota district. Under this scheme 44 girls toilets are constructed to provide good sanitation facilities to thousands of girls in these schools.

Company has also partnered with Mukhya Mantri Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan a State Govt. initiative on water conservation to conserve three traditional water bodies at Village Manpura, Kuradi and Sorsan.

Company has partnered with Zila Parishads and Gram Panchayats to construct cement concrete roads and drains by dovetailing with MNREGA scheme. Chambal is also actively collaborating with MLA and MP funds for construction of CC roads in villages. This year, we have constructed pavement roads in Simliya, Ballabhpura, Pachra, Pachra Ki Jhoadian, Palaitha, Rajgarh, Khan Ki Jhopariyan, Railgoan, etc. villages to improve quality of life of rural folks.
